Who is Stephon Castle, and what do San Antonio Spurs fans need to know about him?

He would go to UConn and a national title with the Huskies, of course, but what else do we need to know about him?

It was not all that long ago that new San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle was fighting to win an NCAA title with fellow lottery pick Donovan Clingan as the two University of Connecticut alumni led the Huskies to their second consecutive championship. Who is Stephon Castle, and what do we need to know about the defensive-minded combo guard? Stephon Javonte Castle was born on November 1, 2004, in Covington, Georgia, and attended Newton High School, where he became a McDonald’s All-American.

The folks behind the official San Antonio Spurs YouTube channel put together a clip embedded above to answer that question. Check it out!
