Just days away from the 2022 NFL draft, experts are zeroing in on prospects that the Kansas City Chiefs might take in the first rounds with picks No. 29 and No. 30. Throughout the offseason and especially after the Tyreek Hill trade in March, predictions have been all over the place. It has lent plenty of intrigue to the potential selections that might be made depending on which prospects fall to the end of Round 1.
Only one thing is certain, though; Kansas City needs to add impact players to replace Hill and star safety Tyrann Mathieu in order to have a legitimate shot at getting back to the Super Bowl in February. If they can manage to find a couple of diamonds in the rough at the end of Round 1, the potential of this Chiefs team, led by former MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is limitless.
