LSU announced this week that junior linebacker Damone Clark and redshirt sophomore running back Chris Curry will wear the No. 18 jersey.
With this, the pair become the 15th and 16th players to don the number.
The No. 18 jersey is associated with on-the-field success, and is awarded to players who display “selfless attitude that has become the epitome of being an LSU football player,” according to the LSU media guide.
Here’s a look at every player to wear the jersey number since the tradition began back in 2003, when senior quarterback Matt Mauck led LSU to its first national championship in 45 years while wearing No. 18.
