Which college has the most players in the 2024 Super Bowl?

It’s not Texas Tech or Iowa State, but another current Big 12 school leads the way.

The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will square off in the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As the starting lineups are introduced — you know, when the players say their name and where they went to college — you might be wondering, which school has the most players in this Super Bowl?

Spoiler alert: It’s not Patrick Mahomes’ alma mater of Texas Tech, nor is it Brock Purdy’s Iowa State.

Leading the way is Oklahoma with six players, while Georgia has five playing in the big game.

It should be no surprise considering the Bulldogs have won two national championships and played in another since 2017, and Oklahoma has won 72 games in that same stretch with three College Football Playoff appearances.

The Oklahoma players in the Super Bowl are:

  • Brayden Willis, tight end, 49ers
  • Trent Williams, offensive tackle, 49ers
  • James Winchester, long snapper, Chiefs
  • Creed Humphrey, center, Chiefs
  • Blake Bell, tight end, Chiefs
  • Wanya Morris, offensive lineman, Chiefs

And the Georgia players in the Super Bowl are:

  • Charlie Woerner, tight end, 49ers
  • Chris Conley, wide receiver, 49ers
  • Robert Beal, defensive tackle, 49ers
  • Malik Herring, defensive end, Chiefs
  • Mecole Hardman, wide receiver, Chiefs

Among the other colleges, Michigan, Florida and TCU each have four players in the Super Bowl.
