Current NFL players have been polled on their peers for the 10th consecutive season in order to rank the top 100 players in the NFL. NFL Network’s, “The Top 100 Players of 2020” is set to debut on Sunday, July 26 with No. 100-71. NFL Films gathered over 900 ballots and interviewed over 130 players for this year’s iteration of the annual show.
Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs had a total of six players make the list including Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Mitchell Schwartz and Frank Clark. Yahoo Sports’ Terez Paylor reports that, once again, Kansas City will have six players on the top 100 list. According to Paylor, the Chiefs tie the Packers, Seahawks and Cowboys for the second-most players on the list. The Saints and the Ravens tie for first.
So who will make the list for Kansas City this season? It’s a good bet that Mahomes will be the highest-ranked player of the bunch and possibly could even take the No. 1 spot. It’s entirely possible that Tyrann Mathieu makes an appearance this season in lieu of someone like Schwartz or Clark.
