After a three-year hiatus, Team Colorado is returning to The Basketball Tournament this summer. The Basketball Tournament is a yearly tournament in which former college players compete for a shot at a $1 million winner-take-all prize.
Team Colorado is 8-5 all-time in TBT with its second-place finish in 2016 counting as the high-water mark. Team Colorado has yet to recapture that 2016 form that saw it roll into the finals and take a commanding 10-point lead in that game before ultimately falling to Overseas Elite.
Now, a new crop of Buffaloes legends is taking aim at the TBT field to see if they can snag the money prize.
Team Colorado opens against the Men of Mackey (Purdue alumni) on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. MT on ESPN+. The game will be held at the University of Dayton Arena.
