Which 2020 Miami Dolphins rookies remain unsigned?

The Miami Dolphins’ flurry of signings from their 2020 rookie class has suddenly ground to a halt. For a week, the Dolphins seemingly had a new rookie contract secured and in place for a member of their monstrous influx of young talent — highlighted by the signing of top selection Tua Tagovailoa earlier this month. The signing of Tagovailoa, who was the No. 5 overall selection in this year’s draft, marked a big hurdle cleared by the Dolphins.

And it would have been easy to presume the rest of the lingering unsigned rookies would quickly fall into place in the immediate aftermath of Tagovailoa inking his deal.

Things haven’t worked out that way, but there’s still plenty of time and no reason for Dolphins fans to fret. Especially with the current health climate in the country, the Dolphins are not at risk of losing any valuable time with their rookies due to restricted team access preventing the league from picking back up with their standard offseason operations. As things currently stand, the Dolphins have three players left unsigned — all top-40 overall selections.

No. 18 overall — OT Austin Jackson, USC

No. 30 overall — CB Noah Igbinoghene, Auburn

No. 39 overall — OT Robert Hunt, Louisiana

With both tackles expected to push for starting jobs in 2020, getting them under contract in time for training camp should be a point of emphasis — but other then that the Dolphins are in good shape. While these three linger as unsigned talents, the Dolphins have already inked Tagovailoa, Raekwon Davis, Brandon Jones, Solomon Kindley, Jason Strowbridge, Curtis Weaver, Blake Ferguson and Malcolm Perry to their rookie deals.
