Wisconsin has been active in the portal since it opened earlier this month, now with five total commitments after today’s addition of tight end Jackson McGohan.
The Badgers are looking to reverse 2023’s 7-5 course and move toward the top of the Big Ten. Given the tougher competition entering the conference, this transfer cycle will be key as Fickell looks to establish his program.

The 2024 transfer cycle is young and much is still to change. But with those five commitments, the Badgers currently rank No. 13 nationally on 247Sports.com.
Notable programs ahead of Wisconsin include Colorado at No. 1 with seven commitments, Notre Dame at No. 2, Oklahoma at No. 8, Ole Miss at No. 9 and Minnesota at No. 12.
Expect this ranking to change constantly as the offseason progresses, both with other teams making moves and Fickell continuing to bolster his roster entering 2024.
