Where Titans sit in AFC South standings going into Week 11

Where the Titans sit in the AFC South standings going into Week 11.

The Tennessee Titans continued their tumble down the AFC South standings after losing another road game to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10, 20-6.

Yesterday’s outcome was the Titans’ fourth loss over their last five games played. Even more embarrassing, Tennessee has now gone an entire calendar year without winning a single game away from Nissan Stadium.

As for the rest of the division, the Jacksonville Jaguars finally had their five-game winning streak snapped in emphatic fashion, losing to the San Francisco 49ers, 34-3.

The Indianapolis Colts ended up winning a low-scoring contest in Germany over the New England Patriots by a score of 10-6. After starting 3-5, Indianapolis has put itself back in the playoff hunt.

Lastly, the Houston Texans kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired to win their second straight contest, beating the Cincinnati Bengals, 30-27.

75 percent of the AFC South have realistic playoff hopes to fight for going forward. The other 25 percent, AKA the Titans, are closer to securing a top-five pick than they are to a postseason spot.

With that said, let’s take a look at where the AFC South standings lie after the first 10 weeks of the 2023 season.
