Week eight was light in terms of scheduling, and there was not a lot of movement overall.
Conference play starts on Jan 4, and three of the eight SEC games to start the weekend are top-25 matchups. No. 6 Florida will face No. 10 Kentucky, No. 1 Tennessee will host No. 23 Arkansas, and No. 5 Alabama will take on No. 12 Oklahoma. There will be no shortage of exciting basketball for fans to start the new year.
The Aggies have shown they belong among the best in college basketball and are riding a six-game winning streak into 2025. Coach Buzz Williams scheduled a demanding non-conference schedule in the hopes that opponents’ quality will prepare his team for the elite SEC schedule and a solid resume for the selection committee at the end of the year.
