Where Oregon ranks among NCAA’s most lavish football facilities in 2023

The 25 nicest college football facilities have been ranked once again. It should be no surprise to see where the Ducks land.

College football recruiting is an arms race. The top schools pay the most money to get the nicest facilities to widen the eyes of high school prospects and transfer portal players during the offseason, all in hopes of convincing the best players in the nation to come to their town and put on their uniforms.

The Oregon Ducks are currently very well positioned in that arms race.

With all credit to Uncle Phil and the powers that be at Nike, the Ducks have one of the most luxurious, lavish, and expensive facilities in the college football world. This has helped them get a leg up in the recruiting world over the past decade. Of course, facilities aren’t the only thing that matters; Dan Lanning will rightfully tell you that relationships are key in the world of recruiting, and player development holds massive weight. However, having the opportunity to show prospective players the endless amenities that your program has to offer never hurts.

Once again this year, Oregon has been ranked as having one of the top football facilities in the nation in 2023. It’s a list that they’ve been near or at the top of for the past several years, ever since the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex was unveiled in 2013, and Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Center was added on in 2016.

It seems unlikely that the Ducks will fall from grace any time soon, either. There are currently plans in the works for a new indoor practice facility to be built alongside Autzen Stadium, giving the team yet another state-of-the-art facility to flaunt on recruiting visits.

The rich get richer.

So with all of that said, where does Oregon rank among the top football facilities in the nation, and how do those rankings translate into the recruiting landscape and national top 25 rankings? Let’s take a look.
