The Alabama Crimson Tide picked up their most impressive win of the 2020-21 college basketball season on Saturday by upsetting the No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers, 71-63, in Knoxville.

Was the win enough for Alabama to move into the Ferris Mowers Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll for Week 7?

Unfortunately, it was not. The 7-3 Crimson Tide still have more work to do. The Tide received two votes in the poll.

The good news is Alabama is one of only two teams that began SEC play with a 2-0 record, joining Florida, which finished just outside the top 25.

The SEC placed just two teams in the poll this week, Tennessee at No. 8 and Missouri at No. 13.

Alabama returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Florida in Tuscaloosa.
