After a 41-17 blowout defeat to the Miami Hurricanes, it’s hard to see the Florida football team being able to stick around with their SEC counterparts, especially with how difficult their schedule is.
Head coach Billy Napier has to find a way to make adjustments and learn from this season-opening loss because it doesn’t get much easier from here.
The Gators go into Week 2 ranked No. 14 on the latest 247Sports SEC poll, dropping down two spots after being at the 12th spot in the preseason SEC poll.
The only other SEC teams below Florida are the Mississippi State Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks.
As expected, Florida is at the bottom of the conference but hopefully, this will be the lowest point they get to this season.
