Where Florida baseball lands in 5 major polls after weekend sweep at South Carolina

Take a look at where the Gators land in the five college baseball polls after 10 weeks of play.

Florida baseball ran into a brick wall last weekend in Columbia, South Carolina, where the Gamecocks swept the Gators out of Founder’s Stadium and even mercy-ruled them in the opener. Both teams were closely ranked in the national polls, however, and the humbling defeat did little to shake up the rankings — at least from UF’s and USC’s perspective.

The Southeastern Conference once again has a strong presence in these rankings — particularly at the top of the polls — led by the consensus No. 1 team in the nation, the LSU Tigers. The Vanderbilt Commodores, South Carolina Gamecocks and Arkansas Razorbacks also appear among the top 10 in all five polls this week, along with the Florida Gators.

Take a look below at the latest tally from the five major polls for Week 10 of college baseball action, four of which have the Orange and Blue at No. 4 while the fifth has Kevin O’Sullivan’s squad at No. 8. Take a look below at the full rankings.
