Where Florida baseball landed in the 5 major polls after Week 8

Take a look at where the Gators land in the five college baseball polls after a month of SEC play.

Florida baseball’s 2023 campaign continues to roll along now a month deep into its Southeastern Conference schedule. The Gators have maintained a high level of play, earning series wins in all four of their SEC matchups so far — most recently taking two of three from the Tennessee Volunteers in rain-soaked Knoxville last weekend.

The Orange and Blue also earned a midweek win at home against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, which helped Florida maintain its respective spots in this week’s national polls.

The Southeastern Conference once again has a strong presence in these rankings — particularly at the top of the polls — led by the consensus No. 1 team in the nation, the LSU Tigers. The Vanderbilt Commodores, South Carolina Gamecocks and Arkansas Razorbacks also appear among the top 10 in all five polls this week, along with the Florida Gators.

Take a look below at the latest tally from the five major polls for Week 8 of college baseball action, four of which have Florida in the top three while the fifth has the Orange and Blue at No. 6 once again.
