The 2022 college football season is about to begin and we now have the very first AP top-25 poll. Heading into the season’s first week, teams have their respective rankings and will now look to move their way up to the top.
There aren’t too many surprises overall based on how the 2021 season ended and what transpired over the offseason.
In total, six SEC programs fell within the top-25 teams and others just missed the cut, but still received votes.
Alabama leads the nation as the top-ranked team, but other in-conference programs sit just behind the Crimson Tide and could look to dethrone Nick Saban.
