Where does Tennessee Titans logo rank among rest of NFL?

NBC Sports ranked the Titans’ logo relatively high.

The offseason is a weird time for sports discussion beyond the field, which brings us to the discussion of NFL team logos.

So, where does that of the Tennessee Titans stand compared to the rest of the league?

In the eyes of Brooke Destra of NBC Sports, relatively high. Destra recently ranked the logos of each professional football team, placing the Titans at No. 9. That’s ahead of the Detroit Lions, and behind the Carolina Panthers.

“Something about this logo feels off, but even still — it’s one of the better in the NFL,” she wrote. “The “T” within the rings represents a sword, the three red stars surrounding it are a nod to the Tennessee flag and the overall look of the comet is pretty neat.”

As with anything, different people share different sentiments about the Titans’ logo, which some have referred to as a “flaming tack.”

Destra ranked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who more importantly than logo talk have Tom Brady at quarterback this year, at the top of the list.

“While their most recent logo is just a cleaner version of the previous that had been in place since 1997, it gives a new, modern feel to it,” she wrote. “The shading around the skull adds a new level of depth and the idea of the sword holding up the flag is just genius… It’s going to be so weird seeing Tom Brady in this uniform.”
