Where does NFC North rank in QB division rankings?

The NFC North ranks lower than one might think.

There’s no disputing that the NFC North is talented at the quarterback position.

You have Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, who will go down as one of the best quarterbacks in league history.

There’s Matthew Stafford, who is certainly talented enough to win, he just needs teammates in the same realm.

Kirk Cousins gets a lot of hate, but his numbers are always there and he led the Vikings to a playoff win over the Saints last season.

We’ll ignore Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles for now.

Adam Schein over at NFL.com ranked the divisions by quarterback play. The NFC North comes in at No. 5, which in my opinion, is probably a little low.

Here’s what Schein wrote about Cousins specifically:

As the third-best QB in this division, Cousins is better than most of his QB3 counterparts in this file. He’s solid, always falling in that 8-16 range in QB rankings. And that big playoff win in New Orleans matters.
