Michigan State basketball continues to be safely in the field of 68 in ESPN’s latest batch of Bracketology.
Joe Lunardi of ESPN released his updated NCAA Tournament bracket projection on Friday, and it has the Spartans still as a No. 5 seed. Lunardi has the Spartans facing off against No. 12 seed Furman in the first round of the East Region.
Michigan State basketball is 12-2 overall and 3-0 in Big Ten play. The Spartans have won seven straight games dating back to the Maui Invitational in November.
Lunardi has 11 teams from the Big Ten in his latest bracket projection. Only Oregon (No. 2 seed) and UCLA (No. 3 seed) are higher seeds than the Spartans at this time.
