Michigan State basketball is currently in line for a highly-rated seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, according to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.
Lunardi released his updated “Bracketology” post on Tuesday, which has the Spartans as a No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region. The Spartans would face No. 13 seed High Point in the first round of this projected NCAA Tournament field.
Michigan State is 14-2 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten play. The Spartans are in the midst of a nine-game winning streak that dates back to the Maui Invitational in November.
Next up for the Spartans is a home game against Penn State on Wednesday. Tipoff from the Breslin Center is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
