Where does Montana Fouts rank in the Top 100 Softball players of 2023?

Montana Fouts ranked among the Top 100 college softball players

Montana Fouts has been the heart and soul of the Alabama softball program since arriving on campus in 2019. She’s received almost every accolade one can achieve in the world of women’s college Softball as a two-time first-team All-American, Softball Pitcher of the Year, SEC MVP and so much more. In her final season with the Tide, she was able to guide them to another WCWS appearance before being knocked out by Stanford for a second consecutive season.

Her legacy will be enshrined in Alabama history for a long time as she is widely viewed as the greatest player in program history. It was unfortunate she was never able to capture the elusive national championship, but Fouts did everything she could to get as close as possible. Outside of just being a great player for Patrick Murphy’s squad, she was an even better person and ambassador for the program.

D1 Softball ranked the Top 100 players in college softball in 2023 and Fouts enters the list at No. 11.
