Where does Jayden Daniels rank on the 2024 NFL Draft QB Hot Board?

Jayden Daniels comes in just outside the top five in these quarterback draft rankings.

ESPN recently ranked the list of quarterbacks that are eligible for the 2024 recruiting class. [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] is one of the QBs that will likely be taken in that draft, but when will he be taken? Where does he rank on the list of possible quarterbacks?

According to ESPN.com, Daniels is the sixth-best quarterback prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft. I find that baffling because I do not think there are five quarterbacks who are better than him. The top five quarterbacks according to ESPN are No. 1 Caleb Williams, No. 2 Drake Maye, No. 3 Shedeur Sanders, No. 4 J.J. McCarthy, and No. 5 Carson Beck.

Williams and Maye I can understand. They deserve to be No. 1 and No. 2 on the board. Williams is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and Maye is an incredible quarterback. I do not think that Sanders, McCarthy, and Beck are better than Daniels. Here’s my reasoning: Sanders has played in the same offense since he was in pee-wee. Can he run another offense? McCarthy and Michigan don’t play anyone so that makes it easy to look good. Remember Denard Robinson? I think Beck is good but he has not proven anything yet.

Daniels is putting up numbers that are comparable to what [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] did in 2019. He can throw, he can run, and he can dissect defenses. Daniels deserves more respect.
