Where does Jahan Dotson’s current draft stock stand through midseason?

Evaluating the current draft stock of Penn State receiver Jahan Dotson

So, where exactly is Dotson’s current 2022 NFL Draft stock as of right now? With Ohio State not being as strong as they have been in recent years, Dotson has risen his draft stock dramatically over the past two seasons.

To start, Mel Kiper Jr. has Dotson ranked as his number eight overall in the draft and second overall Big Ten player behind Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson.

We have also seen two mock drafts that have the Kansas City Chiefs selecting Dotson in the late first round, obviously those projections have now moved the Chiefs up higher based on their record right now.

Many analysts have Dotson projected as an early second-round pick. However, with the way he is playing, Dotson could sneak his way into the first round.

It came as a surprise to many that Dotson decided to return to Penn State rather than declaring for the draft. However, that certainly has looked like a very smart decision going his way.

It’s early in the draft process and we have a whole half of the college football season left to go. Penn State has an ample amount of prospects to watch closely with how they come out the second half of the season. We have seen a few players raise their draft stock through the first half, and Dotson is one of them.
