Results from the first week of Pro Bowl voting from fans were released Monday, and the Green Bay Packers are all over the leaderboard.
While safety Xavier McKinney is the only player leading his respective position through one week, the Packers are well represented in the voting.
At every position except quarterback and defensive tackle, the Packers have a player in the top 10 of overall voting.
Remember, Pro Bowl voting is separated into three categories, all equal in weight: fan voting, player voting and coach voting. Fan voting ends on Dec. 23. Players and coaches will vote on Dec. 27.
Packers fans can vote for players here.
Here’s where the Packers rank — all 14 players — through one week of fan voting:
Josh Jacobs is the No. 4 overall running back and No. 3 running back in the NFC.
Jayden Reed is the No. 8 overall receiver and No. 4 receiver in the NFC.
Tucker Kraft is the No. 10 overall tight end and No. 6 tight end in the NFC.
Zach Tom is the No. 10 overall tight end and No. 6 offensive tackle in the NFC.
Elgton Jenkins is the No. 8 overall guard and No. 5 guard in the NFC.
Josh Myers is the No. 7 overall center and No. 3 center in the NFC.
Rashan Gary is the No. 9 overall defensive end and No. 3 defensive end in the NFC.
Quay Walker is the No. 6 overall linebacker and No. 3 overall linebacker in the NFC.
Jaire Alexander is the No. 5 overall cornerback and No. 2 cornerback in the NFC.
Xavier McKinney is the No. 1 overall free safety.
Daniel Whelan is the No. 9 overall punter and No. 3 overall punter in the NFC.
Zayne Anderson is the No. 6 overall special teams player and No. 3 overall special teams player in the NFC.
Matt Orzech is the No. 7 overall long snapper and No. 3 overall long snapper in the NFC.
Keisean Nixon is the No. 7 overall return specialist and No. 5 overall return specialist in the NFC.
Some quick thoughts on voting:
Zach Tom needs more votes. He’s absolutely a Pro Bowl caliber player this season. Packers fans should spam vote for him because he needs the help.
Tucker Kraft is breaking out as one of the best tight ends in football. He’s third in touchdowns by a tight end and first in missed tackles forced. Go vote!
Zayne Anderson ranks third in special teams tackles in the NFL this season. He has a legitimate case for a Pro Bowl spot.
Daniel Whelan has been excellent this season as a punter. Will he have the name recognition among coaches and players to get a spot?
Rashan Gary, Quay Walker and Jaire Alexander should be long shots. Gary and Walker are starting to come on as of late, but neither has been Pro Bowl caliber this year. Alexander had a strong start but has missed too many games.
More than anything, these rankings reflect the power of Packers fans. They are voting early and often.
There are three more weeks of fan voting. Initial Pro Bowl rosters should be announced in late December or early January. Last year, the rosters were announced on Jan. 3.
