67. Perrion Winfrey, Defensive Line
Though he didn’t have the production in 2020, Perrion Winfrey put many good things on tape last season. His size, power, and athleticism jumped off the screen. His 27 total pressures were fourth on the Sooners last season behind Bonitto, Isaiah Thomas, and Ronnie Perkins.
Heading into the 2021 season, Winfrey will need to finish more of those pressures with sacks to force his way into the top 75 of the NFL draft, but PFF’s Mike Renner likes what he sees thus far.
Winfrey impressed as mainly a sub-package rusher in his first year with the Sooners in 2020 after transferring from junior college. He was so limited with his move set on tape that if he develops any sort of go-to, he could be in store for a big 2021 season. – Michael Renner, Pro Football Focus
