Where do former Vikings rank on 2010s All-Decade Team?

A look at where former Vikings Cordarrelle Patterson and Adrian Peterson rank among all players on the 2010s All-Decade Team.

The NFL released its all-decade team for thd 2010s earlier this week.

Former Vikings players Cordarelle Patterson and Adrian Peterson made the team. Patterson made it as a kick returner, while Peterson, of course, made it as a running back.

Adam Rank over at NFL.com ranked the 53 players on the team.

Patterson ranked 31st overall on the list. During the decade, Patterson ranked first in kick return yards, touchdowns and average yards per return. He wasn’t much of a receiver liked the Vikings had hoped when they drafted him in the first round of the 2013 draft, but he was an X-factor as a returner.

Meanwhile, Peterson cracked the top-10, ranking eighth. Peterson has been an absolute beast over the last 10 seasons, leading the league in rushing twice, including a 2,097-yard season in 2012. He hit the 1,000-yard mark five times to go with 71 touchdowns.

At 35 years old, Peterson is still doing his thing. In Washington last season, he ran for 898 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 4.3 yards per carry.
