Where do Colts rank in key stats heading into Week 17?

With only two games left in the regular season, where do the Colts rank in these key statistical metrics heading into Week 17?

In the blink of an eye, we’ve already reached Week 17 of the NFL season. With only two games left in the regular season, where do the Indianapolis Colts rank in several key metrics heading into this week’s matchup with Tennessee?

Stats are far from the be-all-end-all when evaluating a team. All metrics should be taken with varying degrees of salt because there is context and nuance that goes into all of this.

However, now 15 games into the 2024 season and with a sample size that large, the metrics do paint a pretty clear picture. Sure, there can be positive and negative trends that take hold over the last several weeks that can lead to either improved or worsened play, but for the most part, these stats tell us who the Colts are right now.

In an effort to be concise while still highlighting pertinent information, I boiled down my stat selection to the basics of football: run game performance, passing game performance, pressures, turnovers, third down and red zone success, and points.

So coming out of Week 15, here is where the Colts stand in those key categories with the help of Team Rankings and Pro Football Reference.
