The third round of Pro Bowl fan voting is in, so where do the Indianapolis Colts players currently stand?
Between the second and third round results, there have been a few changes that have taken place.
The first is that Quenton Nelson is no longer among the top 10 guards in fan voting. In the first two voting cycles, he came in at No. 10.
Also of note, Zaire Franklin is now the No. 3 inside linebacker after previously being No. 2 on that list–although he is still firmly within the top 10.
Nick Cross, meanwhile, is still ranked No. 4 among the strong safeties.
Both Franklin and Cross are coming off good performances against Denver, where each player came away with an interception. On the season, Franklin and Cross have been two of the more productive tacklers in football.
For Franklin, that was his second interception of the season. He also has three pass breakups and 137 total tackles, according to PFF. Cross now has a team-high three interceptions along with 125 total tackles.
In addition to being recognized as one of the best at each position group, Pro Bowl recognition can be tied to contract incentives for some players as well.
The NFC and AFC Pro Bowl rosters will be determined by the fans, coaches, and players, with each group’s vote counting as one-third towards determining who makes each team.
