Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers have moved up in the latest AP Top 25 rankings following Week 3 of action and a Clemson bye week.
Clemson climbed to No. 21 in the latest AP Poll after being idle during their open date this weekend. Now holding a 1-1 record, the Tigers moved up from their previous No. 22 ranking. This rise follows their dominant 66-20 win over Appalachian State on September 7 at Memorial Stadium.
The ACC has been a wild ride this year, but multiple other ACC programs remain in the AP Top 25. The Tigers are the third highest ranked ACC team, with Miami ranking high at No.8, and No. 19 Louisville.
After taking one of their two scheduled open dates for the 2024 season, Clemson is gearing up for their ACC opener. They’ll face NC State at Death Valley on Saturday, September 21. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on ABC.
POLL ALERT: Texas is No. 1 in the AP Top 25 college football poll for first time in 16 years as Georgia drops to No. 2.
