When, how to watch Oklahoma QB target Caleb Williams make his commitment

Here is everything you need to know about Oklahoma’s No. 1 quarterback target making his decision on America’s Independence Day.

The day is finally here.

Since Jan. 1 of 2020, Oklahoma and its fanbase has long looked to the day five-star and now-No. 1 overall quarterback Caleb Williams makes his decision. Immediately after then-No. 1 quarterback Brock Vandagriff de-committed, all eyes turned to the Washington D.C. native.

Williams has a final three of Oklahoma, LSU and Maryland heading into Saturday’s commitment announcement. LSU has one quarterback committed in the 2021 recruiting class and Maryland took Alabama transfer Taulia Tagovailoa. The Sooners do not have a quarterback committed for the upcoming class.

Lincoln Riley knows a thing or two with landing the No. 1 overall quarterback as Spencer Rattler committed early to him and ended up becoming the top dog at the quarterback position in the 2019 recruiting class. He also won the Elite 11 Finals MVP in 2018, as Williams did in 2020.
