What would the Boston Celtics do if the 2024 NBA trade deadline was today? At least one NBA analyst thinks they know the answer to this question. Even though the deadline is still months away, teams are already formulating their strategies for potential moves, and Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz thinks he knows how the Celtics would manage if the deadline was indeed on our doorstep.
Given that Boston can afford to be patient with such a great record out of the gate this season, the trade deadline could prove to be a somewhat dull affair for Celtics fans this campaign. Boston is not likely to make further major moves seeing as those they made this summer put them where they are now in the league’s hierarchy.
“They shouldn’t feel much pressure to do anything at the deadline, instead letting this new-look roster with Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis continue to marinate,” writes Swartz.
