The battle for the No. 1 seed in the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament is heating up after North Carolina’s loss to Clemson last week.
Duke and Virginia sit just one game behind first place in the standings as the conference reaches its final stretch of the season, and ESPN BPI projects the race down to the wire.
Elsewhere, Wake Forest, Clemson, and Pitt have all played much better to shake things up in the standings.
There’s also a battle to avoid last place in the standings as Georgia Tech, Louisville, and Notre Dame are in a three-way tie for the bottom spot in the ACC.
