The North Carolina Tar Heels will tip off the 2023-24 season on Monday night against Radford as the long wait for the new campaign is over.
After a disappointing 2022-23 season in which UNC missed out on the NCAA Tournament, Hubert Davis has to get his team back to the dance and make a run. In his third year, Davis needs to prove that last season’s misfortunes were just that, bad luck and a fluke.
But he will have to do it with a new roster.
UNC saw some changes with the roster in the offseason as they were a very active team in the transfer portal both losing players and gaining them as well for the roster. They will have three new starters as they welcome in a big transfer class as well as a two-man recruiting class for the 2022 cycle.
