What would a successful season for the San Antonio Spurs look like in 2024-25?

Do the Spurs need to make the play-in tournament? Or even the playoffs?

After one of the longest stretches in decades of the San Antonio Spurs missing the postseason, fans of the team expect a movement toward making the playoffs if not a postseason berth outright in the coming season.

But when one gets down to the proverbial brass tacks of what a successful season for the Spurs could end up looking like, it gets harder to say exactly what success looks like at this stage of a rebuild with a generational talent on the roster in Victor Wembanyama. Does a successful season mean adding a handful of wins to the regular season total while adding to and developing the young roster? Do the Spurs need to make the play-in tournament? Or even the playoffs?

To talk it over, the host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast, Jeff Garcia, sat down with “Sweep The League” host Rudy Campos.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
