Veteran Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden told a crowd in China that he’ll never be part of the Sixers under current Philadelphia general manager Daryl Morey.
The remarks came while Boston Celtics fans were busy worrying about the health of Kristaps Porzingis.
Does this development set up a potential training camp holdout for the Beard, or does the aggressive posturing by Harden portend something more chaotic?
Given word from the franchise that Morey will hold firm on his stance that Philadelphia will only trade Harden if it helps the franchise win, it could very well trigger a broader conflict within the team. Or perhaps it already has. Star big man Joel Embiid stripped his Twitter profile of any sign of the 76ers organization.
Host of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast linked up with Adam Aaronson of the “Rights to Ricky Sanchez” podcast to talk over what this might mean for the Celtics.
