What will the Steelers record be at the bye week?

It isn’t hard to imagine the Steelers being 1-7 at the bye.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are currently on a four-game losing streak and are sitting at the bottom of the AFC. The team has three more games to go until they get to the bye week. Sitting at 1-4 the Steelers season is in jeopardy and the next three games will decide it.

Pittsburgh welcomes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to town this week followed by back-to-back road games against the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.

Our question for today is what will the Steelers record be once they get to the bye week? Ironically, the NFL trade deadline falls just two days after that Eagles game so Pittsburgh could be buyers or sellers at the last minute.

It is hard to imagine Pittsburgh rattling off three wins in a row after losing four straight but a 4-4 record halfway through the season gives a very different feel to how the team approaches the back half. On the other hand, if the team is 1-7, you have to wonder how the team, like the individual players, approaches those next games with nothing to play for.
