– Anthony Richardson will miss his second straight game as he deals with back spasms. Once he was not on the practice field on Thursday, this seemed to be the direction that things were trending. As he works through this injury, Richardson has not practiced over the last two weeks. This means that Joe Flacco will start against the Jaguars. For more on Richardson being out, click here.
– Cornerback JuJu Brents is listed as questionable but appears to be trending towards playing. He was a full participant in all three practices for the second week in a row. Brents has played in only 10 games over his first two NFL seasons, so any live reps that he can get would be quite valuable. Before Brents can play, he first needs to be activated off injured reserve and added back to the 53-man roster, which would require a corresponding cut to make room.
“Even though we don’t got the hopes of the playoffs right now, it’d still be good for me to go back out there,” said Brents on Friday.
– Josh Downs (ankle), Michael Pittman (back), and Quenton Nelson (ankle) were also on the injury report were full participants all three days this week and do not have injury designations. All three will play.
