The Boston Celtics have reportedly worked out and met with unrestricted free agent small forward TJ Warren, the former first-team All-Bubble Indiana Pacers star. Warren played with the Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns last year after missing most of the previous two seasons with a serious hairline fracture in his foot that threatened to end his NBA career.
Would it make sense for the Celtics to roll the dice on a Warren signing in case he finds his shot again in the season to come? Or does Boston already have enough injury-prone players to consider when building out the rest of the roster for the Celtics’ 2023-24 campaign?
CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning weighs what Warren could bring if he signs with the Celtics and whether he has anything left after struggling to get on the floor in Phoenix in a recent episode of the “Garden Report” podcast.
