What Titans said after clinching No. 1 seed with Week 18 win

The Titans react to their Week 18 win, which clinched them the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

It wasn’t pretty but the Tennessee Titans managed to escape Houston with a Week 18 win over the Texans, which allowed the team to secure a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Titans looked like they were going to cruise to victory after taking a 21-0 halftime lead, but the Texans showed plenty of fight in the second half and whittled down their deficit to 21-18.

Thankfully, the Titans were able to stave-off the comeback and ultimately emerged victorious, 28-25, in what was a nail-biter.

With the victory, the Titans will enter the playoffs with the No. 1 seed in the AFC for the first time since 2008, and are just two wins away from Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.

Following the game, much of the conversation centered around the close win over Houston, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel possibly being the NFL Coach of the Year, and Tennessee finishing as the No. 1 seed.

Here’s what Vrabel and Titans players had to say about those topics and more.
