At a time when there’s precious few sporting competitions to grab our attention, the NFL is going all out with an incredibly long 2020 schedule release show on Thursday night. We already know who each team is playing in the upcoming season, but we’ll learn each week’s slate of games, and which teams have the easiest and hardest starts to the season.
The 2020 NFL schedule will be revealed on Thursday, May 7th, during a three-hour “Schedule Release ’20” special on NFL Network. The show will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET.
We can only hope that each team will be allowed to announce its full schedule simultaneously at 8:00 p.m., and that we don’t have to wait for a division-by-division reveal. Drawn out, made-for TV bracket reveals were unanimously hated by fans for years, and the NFL really shouldn’t be making that mistake in 2020 – but we’ll find out on Thursday night.
