What the Brooklyn Nets received in the Kevin Durant trade

Here’s what the Suns gave the Nets to land Kevin Durant.

The Brooklyn Nets next take the floor, their roster will look radically different than it did at the start of the season. The Kevin Durant era at the Barclays Center is over following a blockbuster trade in the middle of the night.

Durant, who reportedly did not want to be in Brooklyn and requested that the Nets make a deal with the Suns, was sent to Phoenix in exchange for three players and a bevy of draft capital.

Here’s how the deal breaks down for each team:

Nets receive:

  • Mikal Bridges
  • Cameron Johnson
  • Jae Crowder
  • Four unprotected first-round draft picks (2023, 2025, 2027, 2029)
  • Pick swap in 2028

Suns receive:

  • Kevin Durant
  • TJ Warren

It has already been reported that the Nets could look to move Jae Crowder in a separate trade on deadline day.

The Nets also received an unprotected 2029 first-round pick in the trade for Kyrie Irving, along with second-rounders in 2027 and 2029.
