The 2020-21 All-NBA teams were announced on Tuesday, and it feels like there weren’t too many surprises on the three teams.
Nikola Jokic — the MVP this season — made it to the first team with Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The second team starred LeBron James, Julius Randle, Joel Embiid, Damian Lillard (there are some arguing he could have been a first teamer) and Chris Paul.
On the third team? Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, Rudy Gobert and — for the first time ever — Bradley Beal.
But let’s remember: the All-NBA has some contract implications for the players involved (and those who were snubbed). Let’s break that down:
2020-21 All-NBA teams:
First: Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard
Second: Chris Paul, Damian Lillard, Joel Embiid, Julius Randle, LeBron James
Third: Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, Rudy Gobert, Jimmy Butler, Paul George
