What Mack Brown said after UNC’s win over Syracuse

Here is what UNC football head coach Mack Brown said after the team’s win over Syracuse to move to 5-0.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are now 5-0 on the season after a 40-7 win over Syracuse on Saturday afternoon.

From the start, UNC controlled the game as they jumped out to a 27-0 lead at halftime. Backed by the play of quarterback Drake Maye, the Tar Heels offense was rolling and really didn’t slow down at all in this one.

As for the defense, they held Syracuse and quarterback Garrett Schrader in check. Syracuse couldn’t move the ball at all in the first half and outside of the scoring drive to open up the second half, they really didn’t do much of anything at all in this game.

With the win, UNC is now just one game behind both Florida State and Louisville who are 3-0 and a top of the ACC. before we get into a big matchup with Miami next week, let’s see what Mack Brown had to say about this win and how his team peformed.
