What Kansas head coach Les Miles said ahead of Texas game

Kansas Jayhawks head coach Les Miles talks about the upcoming matchup with the Texas Longhorns. Also mentions why it is good to play them.

Both the Kansas Jayhawks and the Texas Longhorns will be coming off their final bye week of the season. Albeit both are on opposite sides of the spectrum. The Jayhawks are looking for some positives to take into the offseason while the Longhorns have everything to play for. Their Big 12 Championship opportunity still hangs in the balance.

Kansas head coach Les Miles met with the media on Monday to discuss the happenings of the bye week. Plus they get ready for the match up with the Texas Longhorns. Freshman quarterback Jalon Daniels has been dealing with a left ankle injury that has him questionable for the game against Texas. Miles refused to name a starter at this point in the week. He did mention that he was able to practice during the bye week, but he didn’t.

With everything going on with shutdowns and COVID-19, Miles talked about focusing on the task at hand. He said the good news is that you are Texas. Texas will get you focused. Lawrence Arnold the WR from DeSoto, Texas has been ruled out for the game against Texas according to Les Miles.
