The Cincinnati Bengals selected former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
Now, Burrow knows just exactly what his rookie contract will look like.
The Bengals are giving Burrow $36.19 million over four years. When Burrow signs his deal, he will earn a signing bonus of $23.9 million within 15 days of the contract being signed.

On Tuesday, Burrow agreed to the terms of his deal with the team.

Cincinnati selected Burrow after he passed for over 5,000 yards and 60 touchdowns as a senior at LSU in 2019.
Leading the Tigers to their fourth national championship, Burrow passed his way to the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, and many other postseason awards.
The best quarterback of all-time in LSU history, Burrow now gets a chance to prove to the NFL what he is capable of.
Given, the Bengals released veteran quarterback Andy Dalton in the off-season and made way for Burrow to become the immediate starter.

With the Bengals, the former Tigers great will look to make the team playoff bound in the AFC North division that includes the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bengals have gone since 2015 without a playoff appearance. With Dalton under center, the Bengals made the playoffs from 2010-2015 and never won a playoff game.
If the Bengals give Burrow the right scheme, he will thrive in the offense. Veteran receiver A.J. Green will be his top pass-catching target.
Burrow could become the first Bengals quarterback to lead the team to a Super Bowl victory. Cincinnati has two Super Bowl appearances with no victories.
It will be interesting to see how well Burrow performs at the next level this season as the Bengals kick off their 2020 season on September 13.
