As part of USA TODAY Sports’ release of their annual coaches compensation report Wednesday morning, not only did college football fans see how much head coaches were making at their respective schools this season, but it also provided a look at just what the buyout was for each as well.

Included in that group is current Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer, who is in the middle of his first season in Tuscaloosa. Just what is the buyout for DeBoer at Alabama however?

According to the USA TODAY Sports report, the current buyout number for DeBoer is $70,050,000 if he is first on, or after, December 1, 2024. That total for DeBoer is also notable as it is among the highest in all of college football,  sitting No. 2 nationally behind only Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart.
