The UNC basketball program is feeling elite following their 73-66 win over UCLA on Friday night.
After rolling through Marquette, surviving Baylor and now beating UCLA thanks to a big second half from [autotag]Caleb Love[/autotag], the Tar Heels find themselves one game away from the Final Four with just No. 15 Saint Peter’s standing in their way.
Sunday’s game will be the biggest of the season for UNC and to get to this point in a year where some questioned [autotag]Hubert Davis[/autotag] and the team found themselves on the bubble in February is a big accomplishment. Now, they have the chance to take it a step further and make it to the final weekend of the tournament.
Saint Peter’s wont be an easy task, however. The Peacocks have taken down No. 2 Kentucky, No. 7 Murray State, and No. 3 Purdue on their way to this Cinderella story. And they also have the backing of the entire country that has fallen in love with them.
