Rutgers basketball commit Dylan Harper is fresh off winning a state title this past weekend at Jersey Mike’s Arena. The five-star guard is adding some impressive personal hardware to his trophy case.
Harper is coming off a very strong season, overcoming injuries to lead Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, New Jersey) to a state title. This June, he will arrive at Rutgers as part of one of the nation’s top recruiting classes.
The class also includes five-star forward Ace Bailey, who was recently ranked the No. 1 player in the nation by USA TODAY High School Sports. It is a nationally ranked, top-10 class.
Harper’s list of honors this week includes:
- Named the 2023-24 New Jersey MaxPreps High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year
- First-team all-state by NJ Hoops
- Mr. Hoop Zone Finalist by NJ Sports Zone
