The LSU Tigers (3-4) have struggled to rebound from their losses after a historical national championship season, and it’s not getting any easier as Ed Orgeron’s team prepares to face quarterback Mac Jones and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Alabama is strong enough across the board, currently ranked No. 1 in the nation and sitting pretty with an undefeated record of 8-0.
Jones, the successor of star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, may not be the same player as his predecessor, but he’s impressed in his own right, currently in the Heisman Trophy conversation alongside the likes of Florida’s Kyle Trask and Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence.
