What an all-Wisconsin NFL defensive starting lineup would look like

Yesterday I put together an all-Wisconsin Badger NFL offensive starting lineup, a unit headlined by Russell Wilson, Melvin Gordon…

Special teams: Alex Erickson (PR/KR), no punter, no kicker

NFL: New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals

Alex Erickson would be the team’s deep man on both punts and kickoffs but would be the only member of the special team roster as there is no current kicker or punter in the NFL that went to Wisconsin.

For the sake of fielding a full team I would give J.J. Watt a chance at kicking and punting as we’ve seen him do pretty much everything on the football field including catch touchdowns as a tight end.

Honorable mentions for the kicking roles include Corey ClementAlec Ingold and Ryan Connelly because there isn’t a starting role available for them at their normal positions.
